The Royal College has a section on their website called 'Resources for Candidates'. Any prospective exam candidate should read throught this section carefully. This includes links to the Exam Syllabus, e-Learning Anaesthesia and ‘The Candidate’ Newsletter.

There are also areas dedicated to both the Primary or Final FRCA. Here you will find ‘Run Through’ videos that show what you can expect on the day of the exam.

In addition there is also a series of OSCE ‘spotlight’ videos.  There are seven videos:  History, Communication, Physical examination, Technical Skills, Interactive Resuscitation, Equipment check and a demonstration of a station that uses a touch screen computer, ‘the unmanned station’.
