College Tutor - Worcester
Emily graduated from Nottingham University and trained in surgery prior to changing to anaesthetics in 2005. She was LTFT in Birmingham School of Anaesthesia and became a consultant at
Worcester in 2015.
Her clinical interests are in periop medicine, major laparoscopic colorectal surgery, obstetric and paediatric anaesthesia. She has a longstanding interest in education and supporting colleagues and
has taken a number of roles in this area including Departmental Wellbeing Lead, Educational Supervisor, Mentor, Primary FRCA Teaching Lead, Positive Event (Learning from Excellence) Reporting lead
and Anaesthetic Research Lead.
She was appointed College Tutor in December 2022 and is very much looking forward to working to ensure trainees get excellent training and support.
