Dr Ben O'Sullivan
College Tutor - Birmingham Children's Hospital
Ben graduated from Leeds University after studying Chemistry before studying Medicine at the University of
Leicester.
He has worked in West Yorkshire, East Midlands, West Midlands & Toronto before becoming a consultant at Birmingham Children's Hospital in 2019.
He has taken an active interest in training since he started and was appointed College Tutor in 2022.
His clinical interests and responsibilities within Paediatric Anaesthesia include Thoracics, ENT and Orthopaedics. He is also Lead for Learning
Difficulties and Implementation Lead for the use of Virtual Reality within the trust.
When not working he enjoys Mountain Biking, Wakeboarding and Kitesurfing.
